The following terms and conditions apply for anyone purchasing a design from SheThemes powered by Recycling Media:

  • After a project has been started, there are absolutely no refunds given due to the time and effort put into all designs. Once you have purchased and we have begun emailing/messaging, refunds are not possible. This includes cases where services were purchased but not utilized by the client.

  • After a website is completed (goes live), if you do not request monthly maintenance or a backup, the website becomes solely your responsibility to maintain and update. Once you agree to the site going live, the website is yours and no longer our responsibility.

  • We are not responsible if your website is hacked, or for any information compromised as a result of a security breach.

  • A website design must be completed within 3 months of purchase. If the project is not completed within this timeframe due to lack of client communication, we reserve the right to mark the project as complete and request additional payment for continuation.

Please do not delay responses for months, as it prevents us from working efficiently and fairly serving other clients. Payments are non-refundable, regardless of the project stage.

  • Any edits you make to your website after the project is complete are your responsibility. We will not fix issues caused by client edits for free.

  • Once a website is officially launched, further edits or updates are not included unless a maintenance plan has been purchased. Additional revisions post-launch require a fee to account for the time and resources involved.

If you’re interested in ongoing updates or support, we’d be happy to discuss a maintenance plan that suits your needs.

  • If you do not purchase a backup from either us or your hosting company, it is not SheThemes powered by Recycling Media’s responsibility if the website breaks after going live. It is your responsibility to maintain and backup your own website.

Without regular updates and upkeep, plugins or themes can break or become vulnerable to hacking. We recommend weekly or monthly updates, or hiring us to manage the maintenance for you.
